Read, Grow & Learn!
The library at Hazlewood Elementary promotes reading throughout the year. We host Scholastic Book Fairs, participate in Read Across America and Jump Start! Read for America which promotes early reading education with our head start program. Our students use Accelerated Reader to increase reading fluency and comprehension. We also do special programs in conjunction with Accelerated Reader during the school year.

Our Mission is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information. The library media center strives to provide the school community with a wide range of materials that will encourage growth in knowledge, establish a life-long love of reading, and foster information literacy.
